Tromso Midnight Sun Run on the 21st June 2024

Ed’s Foundation has partnered-up with Advocate Events to raise funds from runners taking in part in the 2025 Midnight Sun Marathon in Tromso. Tromso lies inside the Artic Circle and on mid-summer’s day - the 21st June - has almost 24 hours of daylight. The event is run with participants aiming to cross the finish line around midnight.

There are a choice of distances to cater for runners of all abilities; 5k, 10k, a Half Marathon and a Full Marathon.

Peter Tomsett, Corporate Account Manager at the Canterbury and Ashford Branch of Handelsbanken, had the initial idea to and has signed up for the event and is hoping to encourage work colleagues and members of his his running club to join him.

Advocate Events have secured a number of places for Tromso, in each of the categories and are offering attractive passages to get you and your family to Norway to take part.

Ed’s Foundation will happily provide running shirts and will set up an individual Just Giving Page so that you can set a personal target and check your progress in reaching this!
