Meeting with Bob & Megs Wilson

John and Ellie had a meeting towards the end of July with Bob and Megs Wilson, who set up a charity called Willow, following the death of their daughter Anna over 20 years ago.

The meeting was very warm and John and Ellie were inspired by what Bob and Megs have achieved with Willow, that provides Memory Days for seriously ill young people aged between 16 and 40.

Ed’s Foundation has made an initial donation to Willow of £5000 and intends to provide further annual donation for the next 5-years. We felt that Willow was well placed to fulfil this aim of the Foundation without the Foundation duplicating what another charity does very well.

Ellie and John have been invited to Willows headquarters in Hemel Hempstead and hope to visit them in the new year.
