Lauren, Duncan and Jane to Take on the Thames Marathon

Lauren, Duncan and Jane met while taking part in the Marathon des Sables in April 2017. If anything was going to make or break a friendship it would be racing 250km across the Sahara Desert by foot, while carrying their own food/water/sleeping bag etc. Their friendship has only grown stronger since 2017 so much so that when Jane was diagnosed with Clear Cell Sarcoma in December 2021 and a recurrence in October 2023 the trio decided to embark on a fundraising event for the Edward Showler Foundation.

On Saturday August 11th Lauren, Duncan and Jane will attempt to swim 13km in the Thames Marathon 2024. Any support for this event and extremely worthwhile cause is much much appreciated.
