Canterbury Chough’s raise over £7K at their Summer BBQ to support Ed’s Foundation

Ed’s Foundation was selected by Canterbury Chough’s golfing society to be their charity of the year for 2023.

The Chough’s take their name from the
Heraldic symbol on the Canterbury coat of arms and this year’s captain, Simon Sparrow, announced his choice at their meeting at the end of February, a decision that was widely supported by members.

The summer Bar BQ was held at Canterbury Golf Club on the 18th August. On a very enjoyable evening the raffle and auction, conducted by London auctioneer Nick Carter was a great success raising over £7,000.
