Amar leaving to do a PhD in the USA

Amar Marthi who has been a valued trustee for the Foundation but is unfortunately having to resign as he has accepted a PhD post in epidemiology at Chapel Hill in the USA.

Amar and Ed met at Cambridge where they shared a house and were fellow medics at St John’s. Amar took up the challenge of applying for grants and awards from other Trusts and Foundations with some success. We would like to offer our gratitude and thanks to Amar for all the hard work he has put in on behalf of the Foundation and we wish him every success in the future.
